Product Comparison

Just wanted to do a quick product comparison.

I know we all love Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive.  Well I have found a very comparable product, Elmer's Craft Bond.

I had bought my first bottle of Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive at my local Walmart a few months ago.  I had priced the Scotch Quick Dry at other places and my Walmart was selling it for $3 a bottle which was almost $3 cheaper than some places I had seen it, so of course I bought a bottle to try to see what all the hype was about. Of course I fell in love with it like we all have that have used it. Well by first bottle was running low so last weekend when I was as Walmart again I tried to buy some and now they only carry Elmer's glues in the craft section.  I saw the Elmer's Craft Bond and it too was only $3 so I decided to give it a try.

Here is my comparison of the two products.
How they are alike:
They are both acid fee and photo safe, quick drying, and white glue.

How they are different:
The Elmer's comes in a 1 ounce bottle and the Scotch in a 2 ounce bottle.

The Elmer's has a dual tip.  A thin tip like the Scotch as well as a broader tip, that is rubber-not foam.
I really like broader tip on the Elmer's for covering larger areas like chipboard.

Overall, I would say they are equal items, though due to the broad tip on the Elmer's Craft Bond I may stick with it for while.

I hope you enjoyed this comparison.

OMG!! It's September Already!

I really can not believe that it is September already.  The holidays are already knocking on our doors.

I did get some crafting in over the weekend by making some Halloween cards.

I had a bit of the stomach flu for a few days at the start of the week,  but am on the mend now.

Excited that the NFL season is starting next week.  I am a Patriots fan and also participate in Fantasy Football.  I have an all female league that I am the commissioner of and also participate in a league with my husband.  I have all my drafts done and now just waiting for the season to start.

Happy Crafting,
Kelly
